Clean older cars aren’t common in Minnesota. And this thing is mint, but the price is rediculous
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
6900, for base model 240. Not a turbo, nothing special about it, basically a 23 year old Swedish Camry. No thanks. 3500 would be top dollar. The ad does mention that the car recently had 3000 dollars worth of work done, by that doesn’t necessarily add 3000 dollars if value

Compared to the people asking over 10k by me, that’s honestly not awful.
240 values make zero sense recently.

That’s just rediculous. I don’t care how well built it is, it’s still a late 70s design with a four cylinder from the 60s, built on a chassis designed in the 60s as well. And I know that’s kind of the point I just don’t understand the appeal of a stock on turbo Volvo.

If the price is too high for you, then you totally shouldn’t buy it.

That’s definitely CP, but I’ve seen similar cars asking well over that, and selling. I can understand wanting a 240, because I want one. However, I don’t understand spending that much on an auto non-turbo simply because it’s really clean. Luckily they still seem to be asking prices within reason around here, with a few outliers going way too high.
This is what that one should probably be asking

The cost of those the last couple years is ridiculous too. A shit can in my area brings $1k-$2k and decent ones can bring random higher prices that I don’t believe they are worth.

Less than half the price. You better buy it.
Redblock is good, but whiteblock is better.

That’s a arguable point, but would you pay 7 grand for a 93 Crown Vic?

Hipster tax. It’s like $7 pints of PBR.
